Oh joy of joys, tomorrow the streetcar will be full of young people heading for school. Some of the young people will be traveling with their parents but the older ones will be traveling in packs. Loud backpack-wearing teenagers in the tight confines of public transit can be annoying first thing in the morning.
But the week after next is when things really get busy. By then, the college and university crowd is also in full transportation mode.
I love the fall and I can’t wait to get out my sweaters and boots but it takes me until about mid-October to get used to all the people on the TTC.
There is less crowding if you leave early enough . . .
