bookmark_borderEl Rincon: a quaint, small, intimate spot.

I enjoy dining out much more than I enjoy cooking. This is still true despite the fact that I have ramped up my kitchen skills in the last few months.

Today I’d like to share a new restaurant find: El Rincon Mexican Restaurant.

I love New Mexican and Mexican food — they’re different but equally wonderful.

No one goes to El Rincon for the decor — it’s quite cheesy and outdated — but the food is really good. (Only about half as good as the Guadalajara Grill but still!)

I did not enjoy my Ceviche Veracruzano as much I expected but everything else was delicious.

I am still on the hunt for good Mexican food so I’d love some additional local suggestions.

Things that make me sad:

  1. All the middle-aged people on Facebook who claim I went to high school with them.
  2. Logging on to my blog to see that no one commented today. Rinse, repeat.
  3. Chin hairs.
  4. Mysterious stains that ruin favourite clothing items.
  5. Cutting myself shaving — especially around he ankle bone.
  6. Forgetting to apply sunscreen and therefore running the risk of looking you-know-what on Facebook.
  7. Spilling coffee on myself.
  8. Spilling coffee on myself when I’m wearing a crisp white shirt.
  9. Spilling coffee on myself when I’m wearing a crisp white shirt and I have a meeting later that morning.
  10. Accidentally deleting something.
  11. Accidentally deleting something I need for a meeting that starts in 6 minutes.
  12. Running out of dental floss.
