bookmark_borderjust wait…it gets better

I just bought “No One Cares What You Had For Lunch: 100 Ideas For Your Blog” by Margaret Mason. So get ready for some really fantastic posts. But in the meantime let me tell you about my day.

Things I’m good at:

  • I’m a pretty good writer.
  • I’m handy around the house.
  • I’m easy to talk to.

…there’s more (suggestions are most welcome) but I want to get to what I’m not good at.

I don’t have any design talent. Or at least very little. I spent a long time today struggling with a graphics program. It turned out okay only because two co-workers have tons more talent than me.

It takes a big person to admit one’s weaknesses.

I guess it’s like this — I could never be a chef but I could write restaurant reviews…

(When I was in school we had to take a graphic design course and while I didn’t fail, I was not the superstar of white space and CMYK.)
